DESCRIPTION:

Passiflora 'Caprice' is an elegant and graceful hybrid. I made it in 2008 by crossing P. kermesina with P. tucumanensis.
The result was surprising in that the flower of P. tucumanensis with an opaque color just hinted by the alternation of darker bands on the crown was revived and enriched by extravagant contrasts from the red of P. kermesina.
The flower is not large but equally pleasant as a whole.
