ETYMOLOGY:

I had dedicated my hybrid to Francesco III D'Este, Duke of Modena and Reggio (Modena 1698 - Varese 1780) at the request of my friend Dr. Eraldo Antonini, Agronomist and Historian of gardens.
This enlightened ruler, in addition to other important urban initiatives, established the Botanical Garden of Modena.
